Our innovation centre, quality testing and analytical laboratories and our pilot facility together have a workforce of 120. Our work focuses on developing cellulose derivatives for use in building materials, printing inks and coatings, food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Apart from product development, we are continually engaged in the improvement of production processes.
Our innovation work revolves around our customers. Therefore, we constantly keep abreast of their markets and requirements and use this updated knowledge to develop tailored solutions. This is our commitment – day by day.
This claim also applies to our technology and processes. For example, in 1999 we invested approximately 11 million euros in a polysaccharid technical school.
Our state-of-the-art pilot plant enables us to scale up the outcome of our research to simulate real production conditions in order to make improvements to production processes and methods continuously and efficiently.
The success we achieve is also the result of the constructive exchange and close collaboration with our customers, which is why we make a large part of our capacities available for application-related projects.
